Try replacing the wireless router. Cheap ones (ie free ones from ISP) are very unreliable. It's best to buy your own from Amazon.

For gaming, a wired connection is always going to be best. If at all possible, plug the device(s) in question into the network while you game. Do you still lose connectivity? If not, problem solved. If yes, it could very well be the computer. Both Vista and XP are pretty old and Vista never was that good to begin with.

On a side note, you should really try capitalizing, using appropriate punctuation and leaving correct spaces in the words you type. Not only does that make it easier to read, but you also don't end up looking like an illiterate loser.

This isn't texting to your friend on your smartphone. It's a tech help forum and to be quite honest, I rarely bother wasting my time trying to read questions typed the way you just did as it's time consuming as well as annoying.

Sorry to disagree but you do have a problem typing. Again, no punctuation, spacing or proper capitalization which as I said makes it very hard to read. Thus my mistake in understanding.

So to sum up, I misunderstood what you wrote originally because it's one big long run-on sentence with no spaces or capitalization and is VERY hard to read.

Your last post was easier to read because it was short.

But since you responded without correcting your grammar (no, I'm not a grammar nazi but why anybody would insist on looking like an illiterate horses a$$ is beyond me) I'm not going to help you.

However, if you'd like to respond and use proper grammar, I may be willing to give you a hand. You'll forgive me if I don't hold my breath while I wait (or wait for that matter) as I don't believe you are actually capable of doing so.
