Specs: 10.9.5
How do I install a TP LINK 6D744E on a Mac computer please. The system is currently operating via an Ethernet cable but no network available for using other devices.

If your Mac connects OK by ethernet\cat-5cable, then any other device with an ethernet network adapter installed (and enabled\configured correctly) ought to connect automatically.

Can you see the router as a wifi/access point; and is wifi enabled on other devices wishing to connect to it?

Generally wifi is not enabled by default on most routers, so more than likely you have yet to enable the wifi function on the router. This you do by logging on to the router's admin page, going to the wifi section and enabling wifi...

There is a wee bit more to check - i.e. That there is an access key enabled and that you know what is is; also the router's SSID (it's "name" as a wifi device).

At present I can't access TP-link's support area to point you to a download of the user manual - but possibly you have one already? TP-link's site seems to be "busy" just now...
