Specs: Windows Phone 8.1
I have a Comcast modem/router gateway that my wife's computer /with internet phone access to a Belkin n300 router. I just plugged my DVR into Belkin router but cant seem to figure out how to monitor my DVR remotely from wan. I dont know if bridging gateway is gonna affect wife's setup to work so I'm reluctantly stuck. Please help me, give me the gist of how it all should basicly be set up and ill tinker with it. I'm pretty good with computers and have a little knowledge of networking. I'm sure I could figure I out I pointed in right direction

What type of DVR? You used an ethernet cable to connect it to the router? Is this one provided by Comcast for your cable TV service?

Its a Comcast business modem/router for my wife's business. She has a Ethernet phone connected to it to talk to clients so I'm afraid to make changes within the router that may affect the phone and business computer

Thank you very much, that worked like a charm. Unfortunately I have a windows phone and none of the apps work on it but android and apple phones it worked great. Dont ever get a windows phone, I've had nothing but issues with mine. Windows support could only appoligize and say there's nothing they can do for it at this moment. I said I could and tossed the phone in garbage.
