adding a wireless acces point

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 1.799 GHz / 1215 MB
i currently use a network which consist of two xboxs and a laptop all connected to my main computer. They all share the same connection thorug ICS.I want to make the laptop wireless and was wondering whether i could add a wireless network and still have my xboxs wired to ICS.

Not really, the best solution would be to buy a wireless router.

You couldn't go,

Internet --> modem ---> Main PC(2 x NIC) ---> wireless as you are using the second NIC for the wired connection and ICS.

i have tried installihng a router several times and even had technicians out to install a router and they couldnt do it. i have tried everything such as power cycles ipconfig and it has never wrked so i kinda gave up on that
