I have an Acer laptop less than a year old that will no longer connect to my wireless signal at home. It connects to networks anywhere else I take it outside the home. It always worked fine until about two weeks ago. what's the problem?
Is the laptop configured to obtain IP & DNS automatically? Can anything else connect to your home network ? What happens when you "search for available connections"? Does your home network appear in the list? What happens when you attempt to connect to it? Have you tried temporarily disabling the security on your wireless connection. This is only for testing and you should re-establish security once you have confirmed the connection works unsecured.
