Access Network Hard Drive

Hi there!
I'm trying to access a partition (S:) of a network hard drive at school. I know that this hard drive contains all the user data for the network, and all the information for the domain "EDU". I have the password to the administrator account for the COMPUTERS, but I still cannot access the hard drive there, only the C:\ drive. I get the message that I "do not have sufficient privileges to access that hard drive", or something along those lines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The access maybe limited to certain IP addresses & that's why you see that error message. That's why ipsec exists.

No, it's not that, it's a windows xp block.

This is not an xp "block". You are denied access for a reason. Contact those responsible for access.
