Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate Home Edition, 1.3GHz 4GB
Alright somewhat misleading question, but I am able to access the internet. I am running Windows 7 on my laptop and have a wired connection between it and my intergrated router. The internet works fine, but it seems to think that I am not connected to the network. I'm not certain it realized that I even had a network, since when I try to activate media sharing it just gets stuck at "Identifying Network". The whole purpose of this is to be able to play music from my computer on my Xbox 360, alternative solutions for this goal would be good too.

Make sure you have set network location type, it can be home network, work network or public network. If you are not sure, can check out this network location type article to find out more.

Ok..Checked your image, your computer was not connected to wireless network successfully. The problem could be on wireless router or wireless adapter. In order to connect computer to wireless network successfully, wireless network settings on wireless adapter must match the one on wireless router.

Advise you to check out this wireless router and wireless adapter configuration articles, hope could give you more ideas.

Hope this helps.
