I have a gigabit wired ethernet network setup. All my devices are gigabit ethernet besides the printer. It is 10/100. Will my printer slow down the entire network? If so, can I get an adapter on the printer to make the network go faster? Any advise would be appreciated.

the printer will not slow down the network. A node on a network does not determine the bandwidth between the rest.

Thank you. I read somewhere that your network will only run as fast as the slowest device on it. I guess it is not true for printers??? That is a relief, because only the expensive printers have 10/100/1000.

That would be true dealing with disk drives but not networking.
