I don't know how it is in the GroupWise 7 or 8, but in GroupWise 6.5 the signature from GroupWise Client to WebAccess isn't different.

Are you running a proxy server, so that GroupWise WebAccess uses things from proxy cache?

Yes we run a squid based proxy server. And request is going through it upon calling web access internally. However the user had the problem when he used web access from home too.
thanks

Hmm, I tried it in my GroupWise 6.5 installation and then accessed WebAccess from another internet connection, but haven't got this problem.
When I just changed the signature from an internal client PC by using the normal GroupWise Client, and then directly logged in to my GroupWise account from another PC via internet, the signature immediately has changed, so that the new signature is used.

Which version of GroupWise are you using?
Have you installed the lastest patches for that version?
Have you installed service packs for netware, when GroupWise was already installed?

Actually this happened with one person. I just changed my sig in groupwise client and then logged on to webmail - the sig is just empty.
groupwise v: 7.0.4
e-dir: 8.8 SP1
thanks

Maybe a problem at the user object in eDirectory.
Have you checked the eDirectory for inconsistency?
At the server console:
dsrepaire
Advanced options menu
Repair local database <F10>

The signature is stored in the groupwise account of that user.
Did you ran a check for that users groupwise account in ConsoleOne?
