Welcome to the Computing.net Mac forum and thanks for posting! :)

Are you certain the disc was finalized, or that the files were burned to the disc? If not, I seriously would recommend burning the disc over again if a rewritable, or writing another disc. Windows Vista and Windows 7 have an excellent disc burner that will burn the files to disc. After the burning tool closes, right-click the DVD in Computer and click Finalize. In Windows XP, download ImgBurn and burn the files using ImgBurn.

On OS X, I would like to present one of the most reliable ways you can burn on it. put the files in question in a folder in the Finder, and call it "Cool Videos" or whatever you wish. In the Finder, open the Go menu in the menubar spanning the top of the screen. Click Utilities. Open Disk Utility. Click Burn. Find the folder that you wish to burn and click Burn when you are complete. OS X will then burn your DVD correctly--as using the Finder sometimes won't write it correctly.

I hope you found this helpful. Let me know if you have any further questions. It's been a pleasure helping you today.
