Why does my Canon mg7120mac print extra blank pages ?

Specs: Macintosh
Mac- printing on Canon PixmaMG7120--prints one or more blank pages in between every page I want printed. Wasting an awful lot of paper. Sometimes the blank comes before the first page as well as after. How can I adjust this to print only what I want?

If a page is truly blank then it can be re-inserted into paper tray and used as new.

Is there an option to put separator pages between printed sheets/pages? I seem to recall hp laser printers had that option in the printer dialogue/options settings. No idea if the Canon model you have has similar?

What program are you printing from? Most programs let you preview your print jobs. Look at the preview and see if its showing blank pages, you may have some weird formatting causing this.
