Why does Java Download try to open in diction

March 8, 2011 at 14:58:53
Specs: Macintosh OS X 10.6.6 Snow Leopard
When I try to open a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.6 after I have downloaded it..it will not open. It says "Open Dictionary: Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension because it is not scriptable."

What setting do I need to change to allow this to open?

The Java Runtime you are trying to install I believe is not compatable...

You should not install 3rd Party Java.

This is a quote from Java Website:

"Apple supplies their own version of Java. Use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java for your Mac. "
