Specs: Mac Mojave, 16 GB
Hi!

Here's my Mac Mini:

SSD: 500GB
Model Identifier: Macmini6,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 16 GB
Boot ROM Version: 276.0.0.0.0
SMC Version (system): 2.8f0

Assuming I can find compatible RAM, whats the max RAM this system can handle?

Can it go to 64GB?

More?

Thanks!

If you’re considering installing more RAM into a computer at any time, go to crucial.com and run it’s free scanner. It will advise what/which RAM to use. Their prices are pretty good too, and it’s.never wise to go for cheapest lesser known brands.

As per Johnw that model Mac has a 16Gig RAM limit. If you install an SSD it will make a difference to boot up there me, and general performance. I have a Crucial 1Gig SSD in my 2013-14 Mac Mini, and 16Gig RAM also from Crucial.
