I have an apple Macbook pro. I have several browsers on my laptop and can hear all other audio content on the internet, itunes, quicktime movies, wmv etc. The only thing I can't hear is the audio content on ESPN. It doesn't matter whether I use Safari, Firefox, or Camino the results are the same. I have restarted the computer at least a dozen times and I turn it off on a regular basis. I have downloaded and installed all updates and the problem still exist.

Interesting. I'm not sure how to diagnose this problem particularly, other than to try reinstalling Flash Player for your browser. Spotlight "Plugins" and delete the Adobe Flash Player plugins from the folder. (To use Spotlight, press Cmd+Space; alternatively, just click the Spotlight search badge in the Menubar.) Reinstall Flash by downloading a fresh .dmg file from the Adobe website.

If you have already completed these steps, and they have been to no avail, please try to upgrade to Firefox 4 on the MacBook Pro for better standards compliance, as ESPN probably requires HTML5 elements. This, however, is only a hypothesis, and may not be the case.

Glad to help you. If the answer given was helpful to you, please give it a thumbs up. If you have more questions, please feel free to post back.
