Hi. I'm helping a friend who need's to upgrade her PowerPC G4 (1.1) 256 ram from OS X Panther 10.3.9 to Leopard 10.5. From what I've read it can be done without installing Tiger 10.4? My actual question though is how I do the upgrade on the system.

1. Do I need to do a format first?
2. Can i just "dubble click" the .iso-file on the external HD I'm booting from? If not, how do i do?
3. Is there anything else I should know before I go for it?

With less than 1 GB of RAM I wouldn't recommend the upgrade. 10.5 was so slow on my 512 MB Mini that I reverted to 10.4.
