Solved Up grade Mac G5 memories and OS ?

Specs: Mac OS.Tiger 10.5.8, Mac Power 970/800mhz

I had an Apple G5 power Mac 970,originally with
01 Gb 256Mb PC2700U-25330Ram,160Gb HHD.OS is 10.5.8. I would like to upgrade the memories and OS.What does this machine support?.I tried to Upgrade to Mac OS X Snow Leopard,but not working.Please help,.Thanks.

You can upgrade the RAM to 4GB. You are already at the highest level of OS X that you can run; Snow Leopard will not run on a PowerPC. I'd recommend www.crucial.com for the memory.
