Specs: Macintosh
Shop at home didn't show in add-ons so I can't delete it. Went to tools, add-ons, and there was nothing to uninstall. I use ElCapitan, OS 10.11.6

I went to Finder/Files/folders and deleted the Profiles folders .. I had 2. Then I tossed the Icon in the trash. Now Firefox and the other "stuff" is gone. Firefox comes with a bundle of a lot of things you don't have control of, and my computer was running way too slow.

When you install "anything" downloaded from the web - use the manual/custom option to install it.

There will be points where you can see what is bundled, and will install by default if you use the automatic option to install.

These pest removers will also get rid of stuff such as add-in toolbars...

Junkware Removal Tool (JRT)

As above... use the custom/manual option to install them; NOT the proffered/default automatic option. Carefully watch for, and uncheck, any pre checked boxes - other than the one for the utility itself; so as to avoid installing all manner of junk, browser changes, toolbars etc.
