Transfer from PPC to Inter via IDE/USB Adpter

Macintosh / G5 1.8 powerpc

Specs: XP PRO, 2GB
Have an older G5 / 1.8 PowerPC Mac.

The G5 has crashed (bad mobo)....and I have removed the hard drive.

I'm getting a Mac MINI (which has an Intel chip)...and plan to connect the old G5 drive via a USB adapter cable.

QUESTION: Will the newer Intel based Mac OS be able to see and copy files from that older PowerPC drive via Drag and Drop?

Thanks very much.

They both use UNIX as the OS, and are either formatted in HFS+(J), or UNIX file system, so the answer is "yes".
