transfer files from dead macbook to laptop pc

Specs: N/A
My Macbook has a dead motherboard, and I am looking for a way to transfer the files on my hard drive to a new laptop (non-Mac). My macbook has no power.

Any ideas? Is it possible? Repair shop saying files will be corrupted shortly after tranfering... True?

Thanks

MAC use HFPS+ File System, I do not believe Windows natively reads...

Also depending on the MAC, you give not one iota of information, Apple have been making Mac's for 30 years, it may be an IDE or SCSI hard drive...

Providing you can fit the drive in an USB Caddy and the guest O/S can recognise the drive and the drive file system it "should" be OK. Better to use another MAC....
