Toshiba L305D not turning on

Hi, my Toshiba Satellite L305D laptop is not turning on. The light comes up but it seems as if the processor nor any other component is responding. Please assist me, cause I am in the middle of my preparation for a certification exam.

Check it with an external monitor. Then check the RAM. If you opened it, then check the processor fan. I own this very same laptop, and took it apart once to clean the dirt from the CPU fan. I forgot to plug it back in, and it wouldn't boot. Finally (after about 1+ hours), I got it to boot, but it kept shutting down. I replaced the RAM, nothing. I checked the fan, wouldn't move. When I plugged it in, it worked fine. You can always call Toshiba Tech Support at 1-800-457-7777. After 1 business day, you can track their repair progress by going to and entering the code they give you and your P/N. Hope this helps.
