Specs: Macintosh 10.7.4 OSX, 2.2 intel i7 quad core / 16GB RAM
ST3000DM001 Seagate 3TB 64m cache, 7200, 6gb, SATAiii, drive only shows 849G on MBP Disk Utility 10.7.4. Not visible to Mac Book Pro (disk utility, finder) after (1) before or after upgraded to latest firmware (2) while using go flex thunderbolt adapter

Visible if using a SATA to USB converter -- however SATA iii was downgraded from 6gb/sec to 1.5bgb/sec and only 849GB was visible.

BTW - OSX Thunderbolt GoFlex adapter was acknowledged by hardware profile. I was able to use the thunderbolt cable and GoFlex adapter to run other notebook HDD and pull files from them -- however, the drive were excessively hot. Trying to perform a time machine backup for 200G going to a 5400rpm 750G notebook drive with thunderbolt cable + goFlex adapter -- time machine estimated 2 days for the file write and it was hot to the touch after 20 minutes....

able to read and write from drive normally, otherwise...
