Specs: Macintosh
Without my permission, a toolbar named Radiobar appeared upon opening my computer. I believe it was initiated by VUZE. I want to get rid of it.

If there is no uninstaller with the application or you don't know where this app is located, do a search with "Radiobar" on any open window. Once you find the app put it in the trash and erase. After this reboot your Mac. The app should be the one with a recognizable icon.

Also, to disable the app go to the Apple menu / System Prefferences / Accounts / Login items, and if you see the app listed uncheck it from the list. This wont erase the app but at least wont launch every time you start your Mac.

Here is a fast solution to get rid of this parasite.
Quite Firefox.
Restart Firefox while pressing the alt comand key.
From the option window with those little squares select the following.
-Restore default search engines
-Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults
Dissable all ad ons ( you can enable them later on by going to the TOOL and ADD ON folder.)
Took me an evening so I feel your relieve.
