On my mac I cant see my USB drive files??

I have a mac and when I insert my USB drive it reads it but when I double click on it, it says that its empty but I do have files on it I just cant see them.
Can you help me?

this is usually caused by the file system. if the usb drive has fat32, put the usb drive on a computer running windows, open a command prompt, and type "convert x:/fs:ntfs"

the x stands for your drive letter. put in the drive letter that windows gave to your usb drive.

If u plan on using ur USB drive with ur Mac, please do not convert it to NTFS. What bad advise # 2

maybe the data on the usb is lost, :(. don't worry, you can recover your lost data with 3rd party mac data recovery software, i know a free one, minitool mac data recovery. if you need, you can have a try. :)
