Every single web page you attempt to go to or just your home page?

What kind of MAC and what OS version?

I am just reviving a MAC OS X 10.4 (I'm new to MAC) and it is not networked yet. Safari says "can't open the page ... because your computer isn't connected to the internet".

Anyway, it gives you a button to run network diagnostics. Do you get that button for your problem and did you try it?

Looks like there is also a "network utility" that you can get to in spotlight.

You could use it to check your IP address, or ping and see if it responds. Maybe lookup can help you determine if you have a DNS issue? And other less helpful stuff maybe: netstat, appletalk, traceroute, whois, finger, port scan.

Can you acess any web sites at all?

How are yo conecting to your router - wifi or ethernet/cat-5?

Have you tried power cycling the router - switch it off, wait a minute or then restart it?
