It's a Power Mac G5Dual core 2.5 GHZ, OSX 10.4.11. Tiger.
My partner bought a HiS, ATI, Radeon x800xL256mb PCIE Video Card. Can't even find it on the computer after installing it!
We have a small jewelery shop. He bought the video surveillance cameras. But the driver that came with the cameras wouldn't fit in a G5 Mac. (It was PCI we need PCIE) So that is why he bought the above mentioned video card. But it may not be Mac Compatible. (Card didn't come with packaging) Augh!
SOOO... I am trying to find something that will run his close circuit cameras for security purposes. IRCCD digital video cameras.

Thanks very much

Yes you need a MAC Compatible Video Card, but this will not allow input from cameras so I can not see the need......

Trying to use Windows based software/hardware on a MAC is fraught with incompatibilities...

Best to actually invest in s standalone CCTV Recorder & Monotor which can be linked to the cameras you purchased OR maybe depending on cameras a USB Capture Card may be what you want:
