Solved Keyboard Volume Keys Now Work

Specs: Macintosh
I remembered some program had asked me if I wanted to use the function keys as standard F1, f2, etc keys. I chose "yes" - which makes all the buttons (including volume) function like on a PC - not realizing it would kill what they did on the Mac. With this option checked you have to press the fn button with the key to use them like the regular Mac buttons.

To fix it:
Go under the Apple in the top left menu bar
- Select System Preferences
- Select keyboard
- Under they Keyboard tab at the top of the keyboard options box
- Unselect the option that says, "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as function keys."

It should now work normal... OR If you want to keep using the F-Keys like a PC then just remember to push and hold the "fn" button when using the top row of function keys.

It asks you that when you set up your new machine for the first time. Glad you figured it out how to restore it.
