Specs: OS X
My IMac G5 - OSX stopped working. It is at least six years old. When you turn it on the screen is all gray and funky. Is it worth fixing? And if not, should I try to sell it, or give it away to someone who can use the parts?
I can do little with a computer besides turn it on, use it, then turn it off.

Not very familiar with the Apple line. If the monitor is an LCD type the monitor back may be defective.

What does all gray and funky mean? Can you make out text on it?
