Mac is a range of Apple Computers and Laptops, I presume you mean "Mac OS X" Operating System ?

.bat files are for Windows/DOS only. If you want to run one on a Mac you'll have to install Windows first.

Perhaps if you explained what the batch file does someone could advise.
