HP f2480 takes so long to print on mac

Novell Netware v.5.1
January 10, 2011 at 07:33:59
Specs: Macintosh OS 10.6.6, Powerpc g3 1gb of ram
Ever since i got this printer i had 1 problem which is this problem where it take 10mins to print a single page. Even if there is one letter! This printer is working with a imac g3 350mhz 1gb of ram 80gb drive. I got to run ubuntu linux on here and the printer responses quickly. I'm thinking this might be a OS problem or i dont know. Im currently running Mac OS X 10.4.11 (which is tiger) on this old iMac G3. I installed the EVERYTHING from the cd that came with my printer.

I had this problem for about a year now and this is starting to get annoying.
I forgot to say i have this printer was hooked up to my new macbook i got a couple of mouths ago.
No problems on the mac book. Just on the g3.

Please Help me.

Anthony

...are you using the drivers from HP for the unknown model HP printer ?? Without full details how are we supposed to know ? all you told us it is an iMac G3 running a fully updated Tiger ! which is different from the details in the heading specifications !
