Solved how to uninstall ask

Specs: Macintosh
There are five lines of ask on my computer. I have no idea how I got them, and they are a nuisance. I have tried various searches to get rid of ask, but none seem to be directed to Mac

They are in your web browser so obviously you get rid of them using your web browser's preferences menu & settings. I can't be more specific because it depends on which web browser you are using and you didn't supply that information.

However, since you're using a Mac I'll assume the web browser is Safari:

From the top menu bar, click on "Safari" and click on preferences from the drop down menu.

Now click on the "Extensions" tab icon at the top of the dialog box.

Find and highlight the ASK extension that you would like to remove from the list of installed extensions on the left.

Click the "Uninstall" button to the right of the extension listing.

Restart Safari.
