How to Make Unix Executable Files Into .package files? (MAC)

Specs: Macintosh Yosemite 10.10.2
I downloaded something that is meant to be a .package file (Sims 4 - Andrew's Pose Player mod.) I've downloaded everything else I need for it to work but it's just the pose player that is having issues. When I downloaded it, it was a .zip file. So I compressed it into a folder and in the folder would normally be the working .package file/s, but instead there were .package files that were Unix Executable Files. They say .package at the end but the icon is black with green saying EXEC on it and it's normally just an icon of a white sheet of paper. If you know, please tell me how to get those .package files back to how they should be. I'm running OX S Yosemite 10.10.2 (if that makes a difference) HELP ASAP!!!!!!

Not something with which I'm even remotely familiar, and it prompted to at least go look-see...

Is this link (found via google trawl) any help?

I trawled/search google using this string/search words

unix zip files on Mac OS

Possibly a similar trawl by you may be of use; pending other input if the above link doesn't pan out?
