How to eliminate a reminder to register softw

Specs: Macintosh
I have an application called Drop Drawers. It allow me to create little docks that expand to reveal whatever files, folders, or applications I put in them. I have had it for years and I love it. However, the developer has long since abandoned the app. and no one picked it up. After a recent hard drive crash I reinstalled it, and now it is dropping down a graphic from the top center of the screen asking me to register. But there is no way to register due to the above. It is annoying to have to click on the graphic 30 times a day to temporarily remove it. Is there a way that I can get into the apps code, find the code that is initiating the graphic and neutralize it? If so, what would I look for in the code?

Modifying application code without source code is serious business, even for an experienced programmer. Since you are asking this question I will assume you are not. I think your best option is to try to find an alternative application with the same functions.

I will assume you have already checked the program options for a setting to disable these reminders.
