Solved How do I reboot a 10.6 Mac Book Pro with frozen mouse?

Specs: Mac System 10.6
My mouse is locked up and the Force Quit command for the finder (command, option, escape) isn't working. I was able to force quit all the applications, but not the Finder. I was in Firefox when it locked up. It went to sleep working fine, and when I woke it up, the mouse carat was locked in place and I couldn't move it. I did, however, have up and down arrow control before I quit Firefox.

✔ Best Answer
Simply holding down the power button (for a few seconds) usually works...?

But these links offer a few other options too.
