How do I decrypt a file (.ccf) - encrypting program defunct?

July 7, 2019 at 12:49:02
Specs: Macintosh
About 10 years ago I used a program to encrypt some files. The program I used is no longer around. The file type is .ccf. Is there anyway I can decrypt the files? I remember the password BTW. Also, I did it on a iMac.
TIA

https://fileinfo.com/extension/ccf

talks about that system...

A google trawl (search) using:

how to open a ccf file

brings a few hits about it...

And this via another slightly different search using:

ccf file converter

https://en.downloadastro.com/Window...

Overall the idea of this file encryption was of course to prevent unauthorised people from accessing the contents of the file(s)... Thus the chances of success are not high - without a runnng/working version of the software which created the file(s)?

Google using:

ccf extractor

may also bring possibles?
