Solved How do I change a folder into a file

Specs: Macintosh
How can I change the file format for a Zip file so it can be uploaded as an attachment in a program. I had to condense about 25 documents and the application I am using will only allow one file to be uploaded and attached. The FAQs suggest compressing all documents but does not support a tutorial on how it should be done... can anyone help me? MO

Not sure I've got your drift. Are you saying that the application you are using sees a zip file as a folder full of files?

✔ Best Answer
Download & install PeaZip. Right click on the folder you want to convert to a .ZIP file, place your mouse pointer on PeaZip, & then select "add to archive".

Oh, is that what you mean, you just want to create a zip (compressed) file from several documents? In which case there are several utilities that will do that. Not sure whether the given link is suitable for Mac but this one (same program) appears to be:

Create a new folder, put all of the 25 files into it, and compress the folder into a zip. Upload the zip.
