I'm trying to understand. Do you *need* Entourage to be your mail client?

OS X works much more seamlessly with the Mail application, which ships with all Mac OS X installs by default. Mail is harder to set up for incoming Windows users, but once Mail is mastered, it becomes a joy to use. Mail integrates with the system sounds and UI and Safari. Try setting up your account through Mail, or upgrade Entourage to Outlook on your Mac to get a full Windows-like experience. You can also use Thunderbird.

If you honestly need help with your account, you need to search for how to set up your mail account in a mail client with your ISP. Several ISPs will have a guide online, including Starband, on how to get your mail account going. If you are having trouble with your account, again, please use Mail to set it up. Copy and keep your receive settings, since you have mentioned that they work. You will need to add or remove SSL settings, or change the login settings for sending in order to send--which is where you are having trouble, and is why I'd have you contact the ISP, since each has a different method they prefer for mail setup.

I hope this answers your question. If you found this helpful, please give it a thumbs up. If you are confused, have more questions, or need more help, please post back. Thank you.
