How brave are you? You can completely disassemble the keyboard (zillions of little screws to get lost and little springs that are going to jump everywhere) clean out all of the crud, and look for broken circuit tracks (the most likely cause). These can be fixed with conductive paint that is sold in auto parts stores to repair windscreen heaters. That's what I did when I had a similar problem with my Apple keyboard. They do seem to be very shoddily constructed, which is a bit of a pain considering how much Apple charge.

It's probably easier just to buy a new one (I don't think anyone will repair a keyboard for you). If it was a PC you could just buy a cheap one for about $10. That would work with a Mac, but many of the keys will be in the wrong places so you're going to have to shell out for an Apple one. Those guys sure know how to lock you in to their expensive hardware!
