Hi, I had iMac G5 1.6GHz 17" Screen (M9248LL/A), and want to upgrade my 60GB of old in to bigger GB, please help... I am looking from this, http://www.memoryx.net/apimg5117fls... i think this is a good site..!!! Thanks in advance
I think I have seen them around. Not sure you need to buy a special hard drive. Might look at other places that may have a configurator page. It may be that your disk is a normal everyday disk and can use any brand. I support the 'Everybody Draw Mohammed Day'. A religion doesn't deny my freedom.
PLEASE POST THIS QUESTION IN THE CORRECT SECTION!!! PowerMac 9600(1 ghz G4)
512mb RAM
50gb SCSI
ATi 9200 PCI
I assume this is a G5 iMac? The iMac uses any normal 3.5" SATA hard drive. Simply open the case, take the old HD out, pop the new one in, boot off a mac os-x cd, format and install.
