How do I make my Mac recognize my external dvd drive as the default drive? It would make loading discs into iTunes so much easier. Please help me.

Default for what? If you put an audio CD in the disk drive, and iTunes is configured properly, you should be prompted with the question asking you if you want to import the contents or not.

Doing the best I can here... And remember, there's always more than one path to success. :)

I'm not sure what you're asking. Perhaps you can clarify. Does the system not recognize when you insert an audio CD in your DVD drive?

The internal drive doesn't work. I want to make the external drive the default drive.
