Welcome to Computing.net--thank you for posting.

Firstly, ensure that you have followed the instructions provided from what you may find in your instructions manual or HP Support--make sure that the computer and the printer are powered on, that the drivers are properly installed on a compatible operating system, and that both ends of the USB printer cable are connected well.

If you have met all these requirements, it may be an issue within one application. For instance, try printing in TextEdit and see if this solves your problem. Also, make sure that the printers are active and set up in the printing pane of all applications. If you still cannot print, it may be an issue with the driver software. You will need to delete the printer applications in the Applications folder, and reinstall the printer driver. If the wrong driver is installed (e.g. wrong architecture or version), you will also need to reinstall. Note that this may also be a driver conflict, if several different versions of the HP software are installed.

Solutions:
- Reinstall current drivers
- Go to HP Support and download the most current driver

If none of the solutions work, please post back with more information on this issue. It has been a pleasure to assist you today; I hope you found this response helpful in resolving your issue.
