Connect USB Hub to SCSI

Specs: Mac OS 8.5, G3 daughterboard
Is there an adapter that will let me connect a USB Hub to my Power Mac 7600/132's SCSI port? I have no spare PCI slots.

Welcome to the Computing.net Mac forum! :)

I did a search on eBay for such a device--one such search I have provided a link to here.

I cannot, however, seem to find the device that you are particularly requesting. The best way I could really help you is to have you look at a G3 computer--they are cheap enough to do what you want, yet more powerful than your Performa class--you may wish to look at a PowerBook, iBook, or iMac G3 on eBay. The Pismo is highly recommended as a good model, but the original iBooks did have one USB port that you could use.

From there, have OS X share a connection to your Performa. Connect into it, transfer your files (and don't forget to convert ancient file formats) :), then really, use the PowerMac as an antique.

This is about the best I can do. If you wish for more assistance, please, let me know. I really hope this was helpful. :)
