Solved canon & mac communication errors

Specs: Macintosh 10.5.8
i'm trying to print wirelessly from my macbook to a canon mg6320. i keep getting told 'communication errors.' help!

Typically most current Canon printers (and likely other brands too) will not permit both wired and wifi connections at the same time. There was a time when some Canonkit did allowboth at the same time, but notanymore. You opt for one or other., disbling the unused connection/service.

Also Canon are very specific about the sequence of setting up their kit. You start with a usb connection and move on as directed by the setup routine. The printer is "not" simply connected and drivers installed...

Read the manual carefully, noting when to connect andpower up the printer, and when/how to enable either ethernet or wifi. You can have both options set up, and change fromone to the other at anytime; but again cannot have both connections at the same time.
