Right now the software on my computer is Mac 10.3.9 Jaugar and I want to upgrade to either mac 10.5 leopard or the newest verison Mac 10.6.3 Snow Leopard. My question is can I scip all the others like 10.4 tiger and go straight to 10.5 leopard or 10.6 Snow leopard?
10.5 yes, 10.6 no But it'll be so slow, you'll wish you hadn't.
Ok so would I have better luck just buying a new mac with the new software already then to try and mess with this software upgrades? I don't want it to get slow it isn't slow now it just won't show certain websites and I am guessing thats b/c of the old software it has now.
Hold on there, you have not listed any specs of the Mac, who does anyway a Mac is a Mac is it not?, it is not as easy as just slapping a DVD in and away you go: 10.4 http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1514
10.5 http://support.apple.com/kb/SP517
10.6 http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575
If you go to 10.4 with a G3 or G4 at least it should not be much noticable response wise to what you have, and at least you will have:
Safari version 4 http://support.apple.com/kb/SP552
iTunes version 8.x.x http://support.apple.com/kb/DL857
or FireFox 3.6 Browser: http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/fi...
