I am on a mac with leopard and going to have snow
leopard. I have an apple laserwriter 16 600 ps printer that
I haven't been able to use for a long time because it is
scsi connected. do you know of any place that i can
purchase a firewire connection or usb? also the driver.
all i ever find is the pc version.

The short answer is no, It's time to upgrade.

This printer, while an excellent printer, was first produced in 1994. Back then in the golden years of Apple, everyone used System 6, or 7 and serial, or ethernet based appletalk.

If you wish to use this printer, you will need to configure it to use TCP/IP over Ethernet and not appletalk.

The SCSI port was for a Font cache HD, not for connecting to a computer, this printer came with a Parallel port to connect to a PC.

As far as a OS-X driver is concerned, you might be SOL, but than again, I'm not a UNIX user.
