wireless connection on backtrack

Specs: windows 7, AMD Athlon(tm)II X2 240 processor 2.80ghz/4.00 GB
is it possible to fix wireless connection and install wlan0 driver on backtrack without external usb wireless card

questions: is this a fresh install of Backtrack OS? Is this is a laptop? If so, you may possibly have a Broadcom WiFi adapter.

This is what i did with openSUSE 13.2...I plugged the laptop to the router via Ethernet cable. I then let all of the updates download and install. WiFi now worky.

Basically, you have Ubuntu so it should be relatively easy and straightforward to setup.

it's a Desktop computer with fresh install of Backtrack OS and i need to get wifi adapter,because i find out that i don't have any.

Backtrack OS is old news & no longer being supported. It was revamped & renamed Kali Linux a few years ago. It's generally used for "digital forensics and penetration testing". What are you planning on using it for?
