Solved Windows boot option not showing up in dual boot

December 21, 2017 at 11:29:43
Specs: Windows 10, 8GB
Hey guys,
I successfully dual booted my Dell, windows pc alongside installing the new operating system - kali Linux, but while doing so I clicked on install grub into master boot by mistake and now grub is installed into my master boot,
So as soon as I turn on my pc it shows up kali Linux as an option but no windows 10.
To boot into windows I have to go to boot menu every time and start through windows boot manager to boot into windows..

How can I fix it such that the windows option is also shown alongside kali Linux? Please help!
Thanks for all your support

There definitely should be an option in Grub to show Windows as a boot option. If the above links do not help you, ask the moderator to move this post to the Linux forum so others who use it more can help better. (my experience with Linux is fairly limited as many here probably are)

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
