Specs: Windows 7
why does the linux distros fuse together to make an ultimate OS...so that it can have pieces of everything of all distros...like a cool GUI from debian and powerfull like FreeBSD so that an Ultimate fusion of linux is formed...after going to distrowatch.com i am starting to feel dizzy...there is so many to choose from..!!!!

You have asked and aksed and asked, but the advice from myself and another responder is undertake your own research. Some of your posts were pulled even.

The best way to learn is by trial and error, everyone has to go thru the pain, and as already said thia is a PC/Laptop HELP Forum when one has problems, you have no problem par-se, you want us to educate you and we do not undertake homework !

There is so many *NIX WiKi's I can not believe you can not find this information by using search engines.............

First Linux, Unix, and BSD are all similar but they have different origins. Since Linux is open source, you are free to take the features of each distro you like and create your own version.

My problem is that you do not have a problem par-se.

You are wanting us to be Tutor's, this forum is to HELP not TEACH

I will guide people to an answer, and try to convince that it is not rocket science, but you SPAMMED the Forum with 7 posts.

All of us Responder's use Search Engines, it is the best learning tool, because someone has been there before

Maybe you need to hang out in the LOUNGE FORUM ??

The last time I customized an OS was CP/M for Z80. All Linux distros come from the same kernel. So get a version and study the code. Try kernelnewbies.org as a starting point.
