you should use whatever package manager, comes with zorin. If you refresh it (or reload), it should be the latest version

Of the 3 possible methods of installing Kali (full install, install in VM, DVD/USB bootable), the VM method is the least desirable. If you don't want to create a 3rd partition & setup a triple boot, I suggest you create a bootable DVD or USB pendrive.

Here's your explanation: http://www.kalitutorials.net/2016/1...

thank you for your reply. but many people say not to install kali linux and install in a virtual box because in any case you can delete it and reinstall it without a hard process. i fount a solution. i just went to the terminal and typed

"sudo apt-get install virtualbox"

this worked. thanks for the help

Check the link I posted that explains why a VM install is not the best option. Also, I'm curious what you plans are.

" When Kali is running from inside a virtual machine, it doesn't have access to-

1. Full CPI / GPU power (because processor needs to be shared between the two simultaneously running OSs) - So, this will mean slower cracking (processor intensive task like cracking WPA-2 4-way handshake will suffer here).
2. No direct access to internal hardware, only bridged access - What this means for you is that you can't access the internal wireless adapter of your laptop. So, for wireless hacking, you will need to purchase an external wireless adapter if you are working inside a VM. (even if you are live/dual booting, you may need to purchase an external wireless card, because internal wireless cards are weaker, have less driver support, and sometimes don't support injection, which is needed in many attacks)."
