Unreliable Wi-Fi connection between PC and TV

Specs: Ubuntu 11.10, 1/2000
Hello,
I'm using Plex Media Server on my Ubuntu 11.10 and using Wi-Fi connection stream movie to my LG Smart TV.
It worked fine for a week or so but yesterday I started to experience the issue to stream the same file as was good before.
Now when I stream it started to play and then pause or buffer then play again and etc. Practically it's not watchable that way. TV Plex client has a little icon on the screen which I think indicate the radio signal and I see that 'good' days signal is full but today it's very weak. When I have that issue I checked on PC that CPU and memory consumption are fine.
The bottom-line is that I have no clue what could be the reason why Wi-Fi communication between my PC and TV is so unstable. I have no problem to stream movie from internet which indicates that my router is OK. I have 15 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up speed ... but LG support said me that speed does not play any role in communication between PC and TV since they are connected internally.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? Does it make sense to try another Media Server on my Ubuntu ... maybe Plex Server is not working reliably ?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks

"LG support said me that speed does not play any role in communication between PC and TV since they are connected internally"

???

I guess you might be able to disable the wireless and run a wire to them to see if you can. It might tell if the wireless part is somehow the issue or some stream issue.

Might try a different channel or band on the wi-fi to see if some change happens.

Hang up and live.

well ... what LG said : speed does not play any role -- I meant ISP download/upload speed since in my case all traffic is internal.
Well ... I think that I could run wire from PC to TV but I don't want to :) . I could same way use USB. The beauty here is to use Wi-Fi. Not sure about the changing channels since I don't have any issue to communicate using Wi-Fi for other computer and devices. The channel is between PC and router and I don't have the option to modify connection between PC and TV ( unfortunately).

Somehow you have to start some tests or some diags.

There are some tools that might help if you don't want to try the wire but it gets more involved. Wireshark may help diag issues and maybe some quality of service tools.

Hang up and live.
