Unable to recover Ubuntu Partition

July 23, 2011 at 08:12:51
Specs: Windows XP, AMD Phenom X2 550 4G RAM
I recently installed Android on my PC which is already having two working partitions namely XP and Ubuntu. I also used to be able to select the default OS while booting but now after accidently installing Android OS on my C drive, I am able to get Android and Win XP as two visible operating systems in bootload, even I am unable to default to XP while boot and system always loads Android directly. I would like to be able to load default XP with the option of selecting Ubuntu which i know is still hidden and needs to be recovered. Any assistance will be highly appreciated

It sounds like XP is completely gone. I hope you have the CD. Do you still see the Ubuntu partition if you boot with Gparted or something similar?
